The FST Medal was crafted by the present General Sr. Arockia Leeli in the year of 2011 and then it was renewed in the year of 2018.
ST.THOMAS CROSS
Generally the Cross symbolizes life rather than death and suffering. Lacking the effigy of Jesus, the St. Thomas Cross presages the discovery of the empty tomb, glorifying the Resurrection of Jesus. St. Thomas is known for his skepticism of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was a disciple, close follower and friend of Jesus. The four edges of the cross are floral in shape, symbolizing fruition and life from the tree of life. The cross also reminds us of the demand of the discipleship in taking up the daily cross and following Jesus.
BIBLE
We are nourished and strengthened by the Word of God in our daily lives. Bible reminds us of our primary mission of evangelisation and invites us to be rooted in the Word of God and to proclaim the same to everyone.
OUR MOTTO: “TO BE A DISCIPLE AND TO MAKE DISCIPLES”
All our ministries are oriented towards actualising the motto of our congregation. Our motto constantly invites us to have a personal experience of Jesus and help others to have the same.
LEAF
The leaf is a symbol of peace, sacrifice, prosperity, beauty, and victory. The leaves sprouting from the stem symbolise our union with Christ. When we are united with Christ, our ministry will grow, bloom and flourish.
