PRAYER FOR THE CONGREGATION

Our Lady of Lourdes, Mary our Mother we humbly and devotedly venerate your holy patronage. Our Congregation is totally consecrated to you in order “to be a Disciple and to Make Disciples” of Jesus by faithfully following the way of St. Thomas, who lived out the Gospel by a life of witness and to martyrdom by earnestly building the church in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, and by genuinely serving the people of God. Lord Make us  as the pillar of our Congregation. Our Congregation dedicates itself, today to your immaculate heart and promises to be ever faithful to it. To be all yours is its pride and privilege – Amen

PRAYER TO ST.THOMAS

O St. Thomas, the blessed one who preach the gospel in our mother land, you were ready to die with the Lord because of the Love you had for him.

Intercede for us  to Jesus our Lord that we may believe him without seeing him, and may have steadfast love for him even at the cost of our lives. By your preaching and miracles you brought numerous people to the true light in our country. Still there all crores of people scattered in this land, not gathered into the flock of Jesus Christ. Gather them by your prayers that all may become one flock under the reign of Jesus, our shepherd. We beseech you to intercede all the Catholics in India, that they may strengthened in their faith and are made worthy instruments of peace and redemption to all our brothers and sisters. Amen

Prayer for Peace (St. Francis of Assisi)

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.

Behold, Hold and Enfold

I behold the Lord.
I see His outstretched hands.
I see the blood from His wounds.
I see the love in the eyes of Jesus.
I see His gracious acceptance of me.

Jesus has come out of the tomb –
He still has the scars, but now they are glorious, with the glory of heaven.
Still looking at the Lord, I reach out and touch Him.
I hold the Lord – and I am held in His love.

Love enfolds.
It is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me.
I am secure in the Lord.
I can look out, now, through the Lord’s eyes.
I can see the world as He created it, in His mercy,
I can see my sisters and brothers with His love,
and I can worship the Father through the eyes of the Son
in the Love of the Holy Spirit.  Amen
